Ah, Mother’s Day — the day we honor our mothers.

Whether they work all day, stay at home or whatever they’re doing, it’s all for you. Yes, I’m talking to you. Did you know your very own mom thinks about you all the time? Stop and think, “What would I do without my mom?”

If you’re bad at cooking, you would be pretty hungry. If you don’t like to do chores (I don’t blame you) think of all the chores your mom does every day. That’s not a lot of examples, but I’m sure you can think of more. Your mom is a very important person.

If you ever get mad at your mom, just think about all she does for you. On Mother’s Day, thank her. She will appreciate that. It’ll make her feel like she’s doing her job. Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention: Being a mom is a full time job.

My mom is a very special person. She works at The University of Scranton. She comes home every day from one job and starts her mom job. Mothers are amazing to not only us children, but to everyone else.

Every mother is special. Remember that.
