The Dietrich Theater Radio Players will return for a trip down memory lane Tuesday, June 3, at 7 p.m. with a free performance of three short comical radio plays.

“Haunt Me a House,” “Fibber McGee Gets His Hand Caught in a Bottle” and a “Jack Benny Show” episode titled, “High Noon” will all be among the original scripts read by a troupe of 16 radio players.

“Haunt Me a House” is a comedy drama that originally starred Jim Ameche. In the play, Larry and Helen set out to sell a house, when there are really no houses for sale. When they find just the house for sale, the seller is so keen for them to sell the house, that he offers to give them 20 percent. Little do they know, it seems to be a haunted house.

In the 1941 play, “Fibber McGee Gets His Hand Caught in a Bottle,” Fibber McGee and Molly attempt to get his hand out of the bottle.

The third play, “High Noon”, was originally performed on the “Jack Benny Show” in 1952.

Tickets will be available at the door or can be reserved by calling 570-996-1500.
