SCRANTON – Mia Nonnenberg and Rebekah Campo led the way Feb. 18 as the Scranton Prep girls captured nine of 12 events, including all three relays, at the Lackawanna County Swimming and Diving Championships.

Nonnenberg set meet and pool records in both her individual wins and was also on two winning relay teams.

Campo set a meet record as an individual and was on two winning relay teams.

Nonnenberg set the only record of the preliminaries when she broke a 10-year-old mark in the 200-yard individual medley. She then lowered that to 2:09.06 while winning the final by more than 12 seconds.

The sophomore also won the 100 butterfly in 59.63 seconds.

Campo set the meet record in the 100 breaststroke in 1:07.98.

Kaitie Voitik (200 freestyle) and Maria Telincho (100 backstroke) each had one individual win to go along with two relays.

Janel Harach and Angela Stahl were also on two winning relays each.

Delaware Valley’s Kendall Glaster won two the 500 and 100 freestyle while Elk Lake’s Abby Zdancewicz won the 500 freestyle.

The Scranton Prep boys won two individual events and the closing 400 freestyle relay.

Eddie Pfaeffle won the 200 freestyle and joined Ben Evans, Michael Robinson and Cooper Legg on the relay.

Kristofer Muzzi won the 100 backstroke.

Elk Lake’s Adam Phillips set meet and pool records while winning the 200 individual medley in 1:59.62 and added a victory in the 100 butterfly.

Rian Fowler (50 free) and David Larson (500 freestyle) each won individual events and were on Delaware Valley’s two winning relays.

Tunkhannock’s Ben Spencer (100 freestyle) and Wallenpaupack’s Eric Usbeck (100 breaststroke) were the other winners.
