David P. Miller, 61 of South Abington Twp died Wednesday morning, Feb. 29, at the Regional Hospital in Scranton. He was the husband of Debra Powell Miller. The couple has been married for 38 years.

Born in Scranton, son of Bertram C. and Helen E. Grahamer Miller, he was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School in Harrisburg, and attended Harrisburg Area Community College. Prior to his retirement he was an account executive for Wesco Distribution, Inc.

Prior to his illness, he enjoyed trap shooting, hunting and riding his motorcycles. But his main passion in life was his sons. David was a part of every activity that his sons were involved in. You could find him at Boy Scout functions, swim meets, baseball games and ATV races with the boys.

Also surviving are two sons, Daniel , and his wife Karen, Pittston; and Doug and his wife Tia, Plymouth; a brother Richard Miller and wife Toni, Houston, Texas; two sisters Marion Gussett and husband James, Frederica, Delaware; Linda Fry, Dillsburg; four granddaughters, Emily, Abigail, Madelyn, and Kaydence and several nieces and nephews.
