On Saturday, May 15, The Friends of the Dalton Community Library host an Herb Festival. A lecture and discussion concerning the growing of an herb garden will be held, along with a herb sale to benefit the library.
The festival will take place at the Dalton Fire Hall. There will also be light herb -related snacks. The festival begins with the lecture at 10:30 through 11:30 a.m., followed by the sale of baked goods and potted herbs.
Janet Geeza and Mary Justis, co-chairs of the Herb Festival, said the funds raised will be used to support the Library Director wish list of improvements and equipment.
