The Lackawanna County Department of Parks and Recreation will host two, four-day youth soccer clinics this summer at Merli Sarnoski Park and McDade Park for boys and girls ages five through 13. Roger Jacobs, director of Player Development at Riverfront Sports, Scranton, will conduct the clinics.
The Merli Sarnoski clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on June 29 through July 2. The McDade Park clinic will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on July 27 through July 30. Registration fee is $35 per clinic per child. Applications are available at McDade Park or visiting .
The Lackawanna County Department of Parks and Recreation will also hold its annual tennis clinics for boys and girls ages eight through 16 at various locations throughout the county from June 15 through August 14.
The clinic includes two sessions per week for three straight weeks. Each session runs for 90 minutes. The fee is $10 per child.
