Dayna Ruth Roberts, 19, of S. Abington Twp., died Thursday evening, Dec. 24, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of George and Lorrie Chubb Roberts, of S. Abington Twp. She was a lifelong resident of the Abington Area and was a graduate of the Abington Heights High School class of 2009 and had just completed her first semester at Keystone College. She was employed by at the Pretzel Factory in Dickson City. Dayna was a member of the Chinchilla United Methodist Church and had danced with the Civic League Dance Academy for 16 years.
Also surviving are two brothers Steven and Bryan Roberts at home; paternal grandparents, George and Ruth Roberts, Willow Grove; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Herbert and Margaret Chubb.
Dayna brought love and happiness to all of the lives she touched. She always had a smile on her face and knew how to enjoy life to the fullest. Taken away from us way too early in life, she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
The funeral was to be held Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 11 a.m. from the Chinchilla United Methodist Church, 411 Layton Rd., Chinchilla with services by the Rev. Anthony Schwartz, pastor. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Park in Elmhurst.
