A Jump-a-thon for the American Heart Association was held at the gymnasium of Newton-Ransom Elementary School Friday, April 23. Fourth grade students took turns jumping rope for one hour and 15 minutes. They were supervised by physical education teacher Bob Kennedy and collected donations from family and friends for the American Heart Association.
