WAVERLY — There wasn’t a parking space to be found in the parking lot or streets surrounding the Waverly Community House (Comm) just before 9:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11. Community members gathered at the Comm’s flagpole to pledge the American flag during a brief ceremony in remembrance of the events of Sept. 11, 2001. Members of Clarks Summit VFW Post 7069 led the ceremony, and the Comm provided light refreshments afterwards in the canteen.
