SCRANTON — The Lackawanna Blind Association will host “Vision Bowl,” an awareness and fundraising event in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14 at South Side Bowl in Scranton.

For a $20 donation, participants will receive two games of bowling, free shoe rental and an event T-shirt. Everyone has the option to be blindfolded for their second game to experience what life is like for the blind and visually impaired. The high scorer in the blindfolded game will win a $50 gift card.

Participants must register in advance by contacting the Lackawanna Blind Association at 570-342-7613, extension 5. The deadline to register in Thursday, July 9. Teams of four may register or individuals will be assigned to a team.

All proceeds from the event will help the Lackawanna Blind Association and the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind provide quality services and programs for the blind and visually impaired.
