Tunkhannock Viaduct 100th Anniversary lecture, 3 p.m. Aug. 16 at the Dietrich Theater. For the 100th anniversary of the Tunkhannock Viaduct, also known as the Nicholson Bridge, the world’s largest steel reinforced concrete railway bridge in the world, Marian Sweet, of the Nicholson Heritage Association will talk about the challenges of its construction and maintenance, how it affected Nicholson residents and the famous people who visited it.
