WAVERLY — The Waverly Community House (Comm), 1115 N. Abington Road, will be transformed into a “spooktacular” Halloween scene from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31 for the annual Halloween party for children of all ages.

The event includes games, crafts, cookie decorating, a haunted house, parade and a raffle. Children are encouraged to come in costume for the costume parade. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Photographer Josiah Lewis of Josiah Lewis Images will be on hand to capture the fun.

The Comm thanks sponsors Waverly Preschool and Big Fish Design, Roba’s Family Farm for many years of support for the event, members of the Comm’s Special Activities Committee for organizing it and the students of The University of Scranton’s Occupational Therapy Class for their assistance.
