Wasilewski on dean’s list
PHILADELPHIA — Danielle Wasilewski, of Clarks Summit was named to the summer 2015 dean’s list at University of the Sciences. Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a “C” and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken in the summer semester of 2015. Wasilewski is a doctor of pharmacy student.
David Truitt graduates
BOSTON, Mass. — David C. Truitt, of Factoryville received a Doctor of Musical Arts in Music Education from Boston University. He was one of 1,637 students to graduate in September.
Keystone faculty honored
LA PLUME — Keystone College honored two longtime professors for their dedicated service during recent Homecoming activities on campus. Professor Janet Lembo DeAndrea, ’69, Clarks Summit, received the Keystonian of the Year Award and Associate Professor Terry Nichols Wise, Tunkhannock, received the Distinguished Service to Keystone Award. The honors were presented during the annual Silver Reunion Reception and Awards Presentation in Hibbard Campus Center.
DeQueiroz studies abroad
READING — Alexandra DeQueiroz, of Clarks Summit, a junior environmental science major at Albright College is spending fall 2015 studying abroad in Canterbury, New Zealand.
