SCRANTON — Keeping up with modern technology and social media can be overwhelming for small business owners and Congressman Tom Marino aims to help them by bringing experts to the area for a seminar, “Tips from the Pros: Using Technology and Online Tools to Boost Your Small Business.” The program will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6 at the Ramada Clarks Summit.

Representatives from Google, Paypal and Microsoft will discuss the latest updates on their products and services. Valuable tips for using Facebook, Twitter, and Yelp will also be presented.

Following the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to talk with staff from The University of Scranton Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and other local organizations to learn about small business resources available to help improve their business and grow their customer base.
