RANSOM TWP. — After a brief public hearing on new legislation bringing the township up to date on MS4 (Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System) requirements, the supervisors passed two ordinances in the regular meeting — one repealing the previous stormwater management ordinance and one enacting a new law with state-mandated updates included.
The board also voted to accept the planning commission’s recommendation to approve the Stann property subdivision.
Another vote was taken to approve a resolution automatically renewing an annual agreement with the Black Sheep Squadron for the use of township’s greenspace property for flying model airplanes.
The next regular township meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Dec. 7 in the township building on Hickory Lane.
