SCRANTON — This year’s Scranton Civic Ballet Company production of “The Nutcracker” will feature professional dancer Edward Spots in the role of the Cavalier, along with all 70 of the company dancers, ranging in age from eight to 23, all residents of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

The production, under the artistic direction of Helen Gaus, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11 and 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12 at the Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple. Tickets are $18.50 each or four for $55.50 and can be purchased at the Fidelity Box Office at the Scranton Cultural Center and all regional Ticketmaster outlets.
