SCRANTON — Sibling Rivalry. Adultery. Dungeons.

Diva Productions upcoming presentation of “The Lion in Winter,” set for Dec. 3 through 13 at The Olde Brick Theatre, 126 W. Market St., has it all.

Packed with comedy and drama, the play is written by James Goldman. Under the direction of Paul J. Gallo, the cast will portray the tale of a dysfunctional royal family, the Plantagenets, who are clamoring for control of a kingdom, and the attention of King Henry’s paramour, during Christmas in 1183.

Show times are 8 p.m. Dec. 3, 4, 11 and 12; 4 p.m. Dec. 5 and 2 p.m. Dec. 13. Tickets are $12 for general admission and $10 for students and senior citizens. Free parking is available in the lot behind the theater and on the street. Advanced reservations are required, as seating is limited.
