SCRANTON — Performance Music at The University of Scranton will present the 15th Annual Empty Stocking Fund Benefit Concert, featuring The Scranton Brass Orchestra, at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13 in the University’s Houlihan-McLean Center.

The event is open to the public, and all who attend the concert are asked to bring a new toy, article of children’s clothing, or a monetary donation. The collection will benefit children of area families in need this holiday season, through collaboration with United Neighborhood Center’s Project Hope.

The evening will include performances of a variety of holiday favorites and an audience Christmas caroling sing-along.

The Scranton Brass Orchestra is a 27-member ensemble, founded in 2011 and comprised of professional brass and percussion players and teachers from the region. The ensemble is sponsored and presented by The University of Scranton.
