LA PLUME — When it comes to gift wrapping, 120 presents is a lot. But when you’ve got a good system going and a team of a dozen or so “elves” helping, as did Terry Wise on Dec. 10, the task gets done in no time at all.

The associate professor of Sports and Recreation Management at Keystone College headed up the program’s 12th annual Santa for Seniors gift wrapping party in Evans Hall in the Hibbard Campus Center. The gifts were purchased by Keystone College faculty, staff members and students and will be delivered to residents at Gracious Living Personal Care Home and Meadow View Senior Living Center, both in Montrose, where Wise visits once a week with her therapy dog, Lela.

The Santa for Seniors project is run by the college’s Sport Management and Recreation Team (SMART), but anyone from the campus community is invited to participate each year.
