Wilkes-Barre — The Northeastern Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center (NEPIRC) Board of Directors added the following new members during the organization’s annual meeting in October.

• Leah Kane, Vice President of Marketing at Elecast, Inc., Clarks Summit

Elecast produces die cast aluminum and zinc products for a wide array of industries. Kane brings a wealth of marketing and management experience to the board, having spent seven years with major New York advertising agencies developing strategies for Fortune 500 companies.

• Jared McTague, General Manager of Flontech, USA, Pittston

Flontech is an SC9001 certified company specializing in the production of PTFE compounds for molding and extrusion. McTague will represent the needs of the small manufacturer and concerns of the manufacturing community.

• Garry Hartman, President of Cheetah Chassis, Berwick

Cheetah Chassis is a manufacturer of transportation equipment such as industrial trucks, tractors, trailers and stackers. Hartman will bring experience to the organization, including how to maintain innovation and strategic focus within a 90-year-old company.

• Thomas White, President of United Gilsonite Laboratories (UGL), Dunmore

UGL manufactures over 80 paint specialty and home maintenance products, which are sold nationally and internationally at hardware stores, home centers, paint stores and lumberyards. White will represent the mid-sized manufacturer and give perspective on the challenges and benefits of operating in the global marketplace.
