TUNKHANNOCK — Appointments for auditions for “Arsenic and Old Lace” by Joseph Kesselring are open from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 30 and 31 at the Dietrich Theater.

Actors and actresses needed include three women, ages 20-70, and 11 men, ages 20-70, including a female and male understudy. Performances are scheduled for April 29 through May 1, 2016. To schedule an audition, call director Hoyt Keiser at 570-466-9407.

In addition, there are several positions available for people interested in working behind the scenes. There is also a need for those with technical or backstage experience or who would like to learn. Everyone is encouraged to audition, regardless of experience for this non-equity community production.

This fun, fast-paced romp through a hilariously eccentric household is one of the most popular plays ever written. Made famous by the film version directed by Frank Capra and starring Cary Grant, this play is a perfect dark comedy for community theatre.
