The Susquehanna County Career and Technology Center recently offered a 16-hour certification course. Ten automotive technology students successfully completed training and are now certified in refrigerant recycling and service procedures. The students are now qualified technicians and comply with the 1990 U.S. EPA Clean Air Act requirements for certification in refrigerant recovery and recycling to protect the environment. Their services are needed for the mobile air conditioning, heating and engine cooling system segment of the automotive aftermarket.
