Pastor Laurie Jayne remembered for service to Clarks Summit Festival of Ice

The Abington Business and Professional Association remembers pastor Laurie Jayne for her volunteer work with the Clarks Summit Festival of Ice, including serving as the chairperson of the parade in 2011. She played a role in organizing a “Happy Birthday, Clarks Summit” sign through the Clarks Green Assembly of God Church that sat atop a cake to help celebrate the Clarks Summit Centennial during the event.

Jayne, 43, of Clarks Summit, passed away on Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, at the Regional Hospital in Scranton.

Per her obituary, Jayne served in many ministerial capacities. She was a teacher, pastor, ordained minister and certified life coach.
