WAVERLY TWP. — As a compliment to its many art classes for children, this spring the Waverly Community House, 1115 N. Abington Road, will offer adults the opportunity to learn how to draw.

“Intro to Drawing for Adults,” with instructor Merissa Garrison, is a six-week introduction to drawing using the basic techniques of line, shape, value and perspective. Students will develop an understanding of the elements of drawing, learn drawing skills and build artistic confidence in themselves. Participants will put into practice the fundamentals of drawing while working towards a final composition and completion of a still life drawing.

The 90-minute classes are offered from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, beginning March 23 and running through April 27 in the Scout Room . The fee for the six-week session is $85 and includes all supplies.
