SCRANTON — The Diocese of Scranton will mark Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities Awareness Month with a special liturgy celebrated by the Most Reverend Joseph C. Bambera, D.D., J.C.L., Bishop of Scranton. The Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 21 at the Cathedral of Saint Peter, 315 Wyoming Ave.

This yearly liturgy gives everyone an opportunity to gather to praise and thank God for the lives of those who have special needs. During this Mass, those friends will actively participate in different forms of service as greeters, altar servers, readers and gift bearers.

CTV: Catholic Television will broadcast the Mass live. For more information, contact Bernadette Rudolph, Director for Family and Community with the Office for Parish Life, at 570-207-2213.
