Lackawanna College to offer complimentary computer classes for veterans

SCRANTON — Lackawanna College’s Continuing Education Department will offer free computer training programs to military service members and veterans beginning in March.

The goal of the complimentary program is to help members of the U.S. armed forces expand their knowledge and become more computer savvy. Topics will include use of Microsoft Office programs, navigating the Internet, creating an email account, researching employment opportunities and more. All skill levels are welcome.

Classes will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., beginning on Friday, March 4, and continuing every other Friday in Room 318 of Angeli Hall, 501 Vine Street.
