NORTH ABINGTON TWP. — There may not have been much “winter,” but there was plenty of festivities for the Lackawanna State Park’s Winterfest 2016, held Saturday, Feb. 20 at various locations within the park. Activities included children’s crafts, supervised by Keystone College students; winter survival, search dog and ice rescue demonstrations; an introduction to ice fishing; hiking; a Sickler’s fat tire bike “try it” and more.
