HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) presented a County Bar Recognition Award to the Lackawanna Bar Association during the 50th Annual Seminar of the Conference of County Bar Leaders, held Feb. 25-27, at the Nittany Lion Inn, State College.
Recognized for its 125th Year Anniversary Celebration, the Lackawanna Bar Association is one of 24 local bar associations in Pennsylvania honored this year for sponsoring projects that improve the legal profession, justice system or community. The awards are presented annually by the PBA.
The Lackawanna Bar Association marked its 1890 founding with a 125th Anniversary Celebration at the Country Club of Scranton. President’s Awards were presented to 22 past presidents for their dedicated service and continued commitment to the association. Approximately 200 members attended the event.
