From left, Phoebe Davidock, 10, of Waverly, and Melanie Cosklo, owner of Salon DM in Clarks Summit. Phoebe donated 12 inches of her hair to Wigs for Kids, an organization which provides wigs free of charge to children who suffer hair loss for a variety of reasons. It costs $1,800 for each wig to be made, so the organization requests hair donors to seek monetary donations from family and friends to help with costs. Phoebe raised $275 to send to Wigs for Kids along with her hair donation and Salon DM provided the haircut free of charge. Phoebe is a fifth grade student at Abington Heights Middle School.
