SOUTH ABINGTON TWP. — Two residents from Meadow Creek attended the Monday, March 14 board of supervisors meeting voicing concerns about the development’s roads, which they said haven’t been paved in more than 26 years.

Without making any promises, Supervisor Joseph Sproul said they will “take a look at it” to see if anything can be done this year. He said it may be possible to fit the development in to this year’s paving schedule, as some roadwork that was initially planned may have to be “shuffled around” due to a water line installation project that may not be done on schedule.

In other business, the board moved forward on the Edella Road sewer project, approving easement agreements for two properties and the purchase of a third parcel, through which the sewer line will run.

The McDonald’s plan is still under conditional approval, which was granted at last month’s meeting.

The next regular meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, April 11 at the municipal building on Shady Lane Road.
