Five Lakeland High School students place in state top 10 at Future Business Leaders of America event

SCOTT TWP. — The Lakeland School District had record participation at this year’s FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) State Leadership Conference April 10-13. Fourteen members competed in business and computer technology events with five students placing in the top 10 of the state.

Cameron Bullet took ninth place in the Future Business Leader Event.

Joe Wanat and Anthony Whitelavich took fourth in Mobile Applications, which secured them a spot to attend the National Conference held in Atlanta, Georgia in June.

Molly Fawcett and Danae Bertholf took seventh place in Video Production.

For nearly 80 years, FBLA has been dedicated to inspiring and developing the next generation of leaders by preparing members for careers in business and business-related fields. Jennifer Pietryka has been the advisor for the past five years at Lakeland.
