These “summer skies” were made by kids of the Dalton Community Library.

The students were between fourth and seventh grades. They began sharing their excitement of the upcoming summer and used those ideas to create their artwork.

What kind of artwork can you create when thinking of summer skies? Email a scan of your finished picture or pictures to news@s24528.p831.sites.pressdns.com for a chance to be featured in next month’s My Edition page.

This is one young artist’s interpretation of the prompt ‘summer skies.’ What will you draw or paint?
