1966 — The Lackawanna Trail graduating class included 103 students, one of which was Donna Lee Cleave, who was shown in a Journal photograph receiving her diploma from Donald Foster, then school board president.

1976 — The Scott Township Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary sponsored a fun fair, which included a garden tractor pull, among other events.

1986 — Six members of the girls’ volleyball team graduated from Abington Heights High School.

“Jeri Billets, a two-year letter winner, was the hardest hitter on the team,” read a Journal article, which highlighted graduating athletes. “She had a spiking percentage of 72 percent to key the team’s biggest season win over Nanticoke.”

Another team member who received a mention was Debbie Keisling, a four-year player who also lettered twice.
