SCRANTON — The Children’s Advocacy Center of Northeastern Pennsylvania (CAC/NEPA) and Carl Von Luger Steak and Seafood are teaming up again to host the fourth annual Carnival for Kids from 12 to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 11 at the Lackawanna County Courthouse Square.
The family event will feature food, music, a climbing rock wall, yoga for kids, food art, aerialists, balloon artist, clowns, caricature artists, face-painting, petting zoo, pony rides, horse and carriage rides, stand-in photo scene, bouncy houses, and an obstacle course, adoptable dogs from Griffin Pond Animal Shelter and more.
All the proceeds from the carnival will benefit the CAC/NEPA, which is a private, non-profit, charitable organization with a mission to “provide excellence in the assessment and treatment of child abuse and neglect.”
