TUNKHANNOCK — The Dietrich Theater’s Open Mic will bring singer/songwriter Patrick Fiore to the stage on Friday, June 24 to the Peg Fassett Performance Studio.

The evening begins at 7 p.m. with those who wish to perform before an audience to share a song, a story, a poem, or an act. Sign-ups start at 6:30 p.m. The fun is in not knowing what talent will show up and what will be the surprises of the evening. Then the featured performer, an experienced artist, comes on stage to complete the evening.

All are welcome to this free event and reservations are not needed.

Fiore is an area singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist. His musical influences include Dave Matthews, John Mayer Trio, Stone Temple Pilots, and Led Zeppelin.

Last year he released his debut album, “Small Wooden Room.” “Soul Sister,” the energetic bluesy-jazzy opening track, sets the tone for this upbeat, soulful album. Songs like “Bless the Man” and “Hidden in My Head” demonstrate Fiore’s range of guitar technique and vocals.

Patrick Fiore is the featured artist for the Dietrich Theater’s next Open Mic Night, slated for 7 p.m. Friday, June 24.
