SCRANTON — Lackawanna College awarded more than 390 associate degrees and certificates to students from 15 states, Canada, and the Virgin Islands during its 122nd commencement Saturday, May 21 in the College’s Student Union in downtown Scranton. The following Abington area students are among the graduates:

• Alex Francis Altier, of North Abington Township, Associate in Science degree in petroleum and natural gas technology

• Debra L. Benedict, of Nicholson, Associate in Science degree in business administration

• Robert John Beresovoy, of Clarks Summit, Associate in Science degree in natural gas compression technology

• Alicia Quinn Bird, of Dalton, Associate in Arts degree in communication arts

• Caleb Austin Darling, of Nicholson, Associate in Science degree in petroleum and natural gas technology

• Ryan Alec Dill, of Dalton, Associate in Science degree in liberal studies

• Victoria Elizabeth Jeschke, of Clarks Summit, Associate in Science degree in early childhood education

• Samantha R. LaCoe, of Clarks Summit, Associate in Science degree in petroleum and natural gas business administration

• Peter Loftus, of Waverly, certificate in paramedic studies

• Amanda Marie Madans, of Factoryville, Associate in Science degree in business administration

• Jared Michael Madans, of Factoryville, Associate in Science degree in criminal justice – police
