NEWTON TWP. — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the alleged sexual assault of a 59-year-old male patient at the Clarks Summit State Hospital.
According to the public information release report, the victim claims he was sexually assaulted by another patient at the hospital during the time period of June 2 through 8.
The investigation is ongoing and no further information was provided at this time.
The Clarks Summit State Hospital is an extended acute care psychiatric hospital that serves 11 counties in NEPA. It is located at 1451 Hillside Drive in Newton Township.
