SCRANTON — Area residents were among those receiving Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees and master’s degrees at The University of Scranton’s graduate commencement. More than 600 post-baccalaureate degrees were conferred at the ceremony held on May 28 in the Byron Recreation Complex.

Outstanding Academic Awards for master’s level programs were presented to the following local graduates in the programs as listed:

• Natalie Wentz, of Nicholson, biochemistry
