State police seek endangered person missing from Clarks Summit State Hospital

DUNMORE — The Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a missing endangered person who escaped from the Clarks Summit State Hospital Tuesday evening, according to a PSP Public Information Release Report.

Mark Hawkins, 28, is described in the report as 5’ 8”, 191 lbs, with long brown hair, blue eyes and a brown beard. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with unknown red lettering and Unk type pants and shoes. He has a tattoo on his left shoulder and forearm and large black gauge earrings in both ears.

According to the report, Hawkins, who suffers from Schizophrenia, is delusional and hallucinates at times, exited the facility in an unknown direction on foot around 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 21.
