The weekend starts with an unsettled weather pattern as a cold front moves through the Wyoming Valley.

Saturday’s daytime high will reach near 80, but humid conditions continue. Showers and a chance of severe thunderstorms will speckle the region. Some storms may produce strong winds, large hail and heavy rains.

Chance of thunderstorms will continue into Saturday night as temperatures hovering around 63 degrees.

Sunday temperatures will cool to 73 degrees with partly sunny skies and less humidity, making it a great day to be outside.

Sunday night will offer some relief from hot, humid nights as the temperature will drop to a comfortable 58 degrees.

Monday, temperatures will be on the rise again reaching near 80 for the start of the work week. Monday night temperatures will decrease to a cool 57 degrees.
