SCRANTON — Friends of the American Cancer Society will host the Fifth Annual Drink to Pink event from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4 at Cooper’s Seafood House in Scranton.
The happy hour fundraiser will feature drink specials, live entertainment by EJ the DJ, an autographed framed Yuengling poster raffle, a 50/50, T-shirt sales and raffle baskets. This year’s raffle baskets include items from Toyota of Scranton, Weyerbacher Brewery, Yards Brewing Company, Everything Natural, the Scranton Wilkes Barre Penguins and more.
Raffle tickets for the autographed Yuengling poster are currently for sale at Cooper’s or by emailing event organizer Erin McFadden at mcfadden289@gmail.com. Participants are not required to be present to win, but must be able to pick the item up in Scranton. Tickets are $5 each.
Donations for the raffles are still being accepted. For more information, email McFadden.
The American Cancer Society funds lifesaving research and on a daily basis, provides the counseling and day-to-day, 24-hour support to help patients navigate through some of the hardest days of their lives.
