Countryside Conservancy’s 22nd annual Tailgate Picnic set for Sunday, Sept. 18 at Little Rocky Glen Preserve

Countryside Conservancy’s Little Rocky Glen Preserve, located on Lithia Valley Road, just off of Route 6 in Clinton Township, Wyoming County, will be the setting for the organization’s 22nd annual Tailgate Picnic, to be held Sunday, Sept. 18.

LA PLUME — Countryside Conservancy will host its 22nd annual Tailgate Picnic at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18 at its Little Rocky Glen Preserve, Lithia Valley Road, just off of Route 6 in Clinton Township, Wyoming County. The event will end at dusk. The community is invited to pack a picnic lunch, along with a dish to share, and drive out to the preserve to join in the tradition.

Jessica from Sassafras and Greg from the Village Idiots will provide live music, and the Acker family will set up an open-air grill to roast corn, with s’mores for dessert. Guests can explore the hiking trails of Little Rocky Glen or simply kick back and enjoy the music and food.

Picnic admission is free for conservancy members and there is a $10 suggested donation per vehicle for non-members.
