TUNKHANNOCK — The Dietrich Theater will host a free short presentation, light brunch and book signing by Donna LaBar, author of “Simple. Natural. Healing: A Commonsense Approach to Total Health Transformation,” at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 24.

LaBar, who translates scientific healing health approaches into layman’s terms, is an author, speaker, teacher and integrative health coach certified by the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Living through the illnesses of her daughter and a good friend, she has been on a personal journey to find just what her book title suggests: “simple, natural healing.”

The author will be available at the theater, with copies of her book for sale, until 4 p.m. For more information about the event or to reserve seats, call 570-996-1500.
