The University of Scranton Women’s Entrepreneurship Center (WEC), a partnership between the Kania School of Management and Small Business Development Center, held a mixer with past and present participants to celebrate seven years of success. WEC offers programs and services to women with lower incomes, those in transition or those trying to make a better life for themselves and their families; helping to determine if self employment is an option. From left, Lauren Pluchinsky and Danielle Guari, student interns; Donna Simpson, consultant manager, The University of Scranton SBDC; Lisa Hall Zielinski, director, The University of Scranton SBDC; Claire Marangelli and Denise Rizzo, student interns. Absent at the time of photo was Francene Dudziec, special projects coordinator.
