LA PLUME — Three Keystone College graduates received alumni awards during Homecoming and Family Day festivities Oct. 1.

The awards were presented by Keystone College President David L. Coppola, Ph.D., and James Mirabelli, Clarks Summit, president of the Keystone College Alumni Association.

Jon H. Cadman, ’81, was named Keystonian of the Year; W. Rick Kirijan, ’66, received the Distinguished Service to Keystone Award; and Shane M. McGuire, ’07, received the Young Alumnus of the Year Award.

Cadman, of Clarks Summit, is general manager of FOX-56 WOLF-TV. Appointed to the position in 2003, he has overall management responsibility for the station, as well as five affiliate stations. Long involved with Keystone, he has served multiple terms on the college’s Alumni Association and is currently a member of the President’s Advisory Board. In addition to Keystone, he is a graduate of Kutztown University.

Kirijan, a former resident of Clarks Summit who now lives in West Chester, retired after working in the health insurance industry. He also served in the United States Army and was employed by the federal government. In recent years, he served as treasurer and president of the Keystone Alumni Association. Kirijan is also a graduate of West Chester University.

McGuire, formerly of Scranton, is vice president of finance at United Methodist Homes, Binghamton, N.Y. He joined the organization in 2010 as a senior financial analyst and was promoted to director of finance before undertaking his current role. A certified public accountant, McGuire has also been employed by Parente Randolph (now Baker Tilly). Among other activities, McGuire served as treasurer, vice president, and president of the Keystone Alumni Association.
