CLARKS SUMMIT — The Abington Business and Professional Association’s (ABPA) 2016 Business Scarecrow Competition kicked off Monday, Oct. 10 and will continue until Monday, Oct. 31.
Community members can vote for their favorite business scarecrow by filling out a ballot in-store at a participating business, online at TheABPA.com or by dropping it off or mailing it to: The Abington Journal, 211 South State Street, Clarks Summit, PA 18411.
Each voter will be entered in a drawing and one winner will receive a $100 gift certificate, valid at the participating businesses.
Participants include: Caregivers America, Caregivers for Kids, Clel’s Place, Duffy’s Coffee House, Everything Natural, Northeast Title and Tag, Peoples Security Bank and Trust (Glenburn branch), The Pines Senior Living, State Farm – Thomas Agency and the Waverly Community House.
