SCRANTON — Gynecologist Thomas S. Samuelsen, M.D., recently joined Women’s Health at Geisinger Mt. Pleasant.

Board certified in obstetrics/gynecology, Samuelsen has been in practice since 1988. He earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, and completed a residency in obstetrics/gynecology at the University of Rochester, New York.

Prior to joining Geisinger, Samuelsen was a physician at Physician’s Health Alliance, Clarks Summit, and Moses Taylor Hospital. He is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also an assistant professor at the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.
