WAVERLY TWP. — The Waverly Community House (Comm), 1115 N. Abington Road, will offer a winter art class for children, “Art with Jenna,” which will run for six weeks beginning Tuesday, Feb. 14. The class, Mixed Media and Drawing, focuses on trash to treasure, drawing and painting and pottery and sculpture. It is intended for children age 6 and older.

Mixed Media and Drawing is held from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. in the canteen (street level). The fee for the class is $60 which includes materials.

Jenna Walker, the class instructor, is a fine arts major at Marywood University. She has been active with the Waverly Community House throughout her young life, serving as the art director at the Comm’s summer Comm Camp and as a student volunteer for many of the Comm’s family and holiday events.
