Dear Editor,

Parker Hill Church is honored to be the local host of Night to Shine, a prom for people with special needs, in partnership with the Tim Tebow Foundation. It is our privilege to offer our guests with special needs an evening when they can be celebrated as the kings and queens they are — something we know they will always remember.

Your recent article from Feb. 22 highlighted this special event, but did not mention the immense support we received from many local businesses. Parker Hill Church would like to thank the following businesses and organizations who helped make Night to Shine a reality: Tuxedo by Sarno, Rich Banick Photography, Lackawanna College, Center for Independent Living, Boulevard Rental, Balloon Works, Inc., FNCB Bank, Starbucks Coffee, DJ E-Dub, DJ Josh Beatz, AAAA Limo, Northeastern Transit, Parrish Limousine, The Limo Guy, Back Mountain Floral, Community Bank, Russell W. Decker—Builder, SweetFrog, Toyota of Scranton, McCarthy-Remick Flowers, Hart Country Bakery, BP Sanitation, Constable Robert Kuhn, Constable Robert Kuhn Jr., CommonWealth Health.

Without the generous support of these local organizations, Night to Shine would not be possible. Their donations of time, personnel, goods and services means this event can reach its full potential as a truly memorable evening for all involved.
