SCRANTON — The works of three artists, Lisa Forman, Ramona Jan and Alex Tomlinson, will be featured in the AFA Gallery’s first floor gallery from March 2-24. An opening reception will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. during First Friday, March 3. The event is free and open to the public.

Forman’s photographs document the vast interior space of the abandoned Scranton Lace Factory. Jan uses found objects to create practical but absurd works. Tomlinson’s photographs explore the relationship between man-made light, nature and modern society.

Jan will also give a brief talk about her work and guide participants through building their own found object collage during a AFA Second Saturday workshop, titled “Junk Magic with Ramona Jan” at 2 p.m. March 4. The cost of the workshop is $35 for general admission and $30 for current AFA members.
